The 5th Edition of the Governor Douye Diri National Scrabble Tournament holds in August.  You can recall that the Press Secretary to the Governor and Chairman of the Bayelsa State Scrabble Association, Daniel Alabra has tirelessly worked to ensure the 5th Edition holds as promised by the state governor.    Over 250 players all over the country are usually expected to participate for over N10,000,000 prize bands with a grand prize of N1,000,000 and a giant trophy 🏆  Players like Enoch Nwali (the defending champion), George Ezinore (Current National Champ), Timi Doko (Current African Champ) are all warming up for the event

June Edition of the Ekowe Scrabble Club Monthly Scrabble Retreat Ekowe Scrabble Club kickstarts her maiden edition of the monthly retreat with the aim to building education using scrabble as a tool. Her  First Edition was played on the 28 June 2025.    The event became an avenue for young youths of the community to prepare better for the July Edition slated for 26 Saturday 2025.
