Adebola Samuel Win Gov Diri 5th Edition

Medical Doctor Crowned Gov Diri National Scrabble Champion Samuel Adebola in all black  A medical practitioner, Samuel Adebola , won the star prize of one million Naira at the fifth edition of the Governor Douye Diri National Scrabble Championship held at the weekend in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. The Ogun State-based doctor clinched the coveted trophy in the Masters category, beating stiff competition from a cast of top scrabble players from across the country. More than 200 players participated in the tournament, which had a total prize money of over N10 million in five categories. Edowor Bobor winner intermediate category| NSF President Engr. The 2023 World Scrabble Championship just concluded in an intriguing way that put a better smile on the face of the player that lost in the 2023 North American Scrabble Championship to a Delta of Nigerian player. Now the WSC outcome tells a different story.  Congratulations to David Eldar who lost to Wellington Jighere in the US National, but now the winner of the World Championship 🏆

 The World Scrabble Championship is ongoing in Las Vegas Nevada as team Nigeria is set to retain the best scrabble playing nation in the world. USA team is one major opponent to the Nigerian team as it stands, Australia, and Thailand are also another contenders viewers should watch out for, but let's proceed to the point of view.  Here in this update, we shall be bringing you with Enoch Nwali's updates on the WSC.  Total number of games to be played are 32. It is no news that Scrabble is one major mind game sport that is enjoyed by millions across the globe.  The World Scrabble Championship is live today at Las Vegas Nevada. 

Wellington Jighere Place 1st in the 2023 North American Scrabble Championship after 28 games

Team Nigeria in their numbers stormed Las Vegas Nevada for the World Scrabble Championship - WSC to reclaim their title The Best Scrabble Playing Nation. The North American Scrabble Association honored the one time World Champ.  While waiting for the major tournament some of the Nigerian players already present at the venue registered and played the 2023 North American Scrabble Championship. Twas a competition consisting of 46 players and over 10 Nigerians partook. Earlier on, I posted on how 3 of them got in to  Top 10 after round 18   The more exciting feeling is that at the end of round 28, five of them place top 10. Wellington Jighere in 1st, Omosefe Prince in 4th, Oduwole Olatunde in 5th, Oloro Opeyemi in 9th, and Eta Karo in 10th positions.
