Enoch Nwali has become synonymous with excellence in African Scrabble. The Nigerian prodigy, who has consistently proven himself on both local and international stages, added yet another accolade to his growing legacy in 2025.

Enoch dominated the 4th season of the Gov Diri National Scrabble Championship, showcasing his unmatched word power, strategic depth, and mental stamina. The victory reaffirmed his position as one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s most formidable Scrabble talents.

But his journey didn’t stop there. At the Word Cup 2025, one of the most prestigious global Scrabble tournaments, Enoch battled against the world’s finest players, eventually finishing as runner-up. This silver-medal finish was a testament to his consistency at the highest level and his ability to adapt to different playing styles and conditions.


Enoch's story is one of focus, preparation, and unrelenting drive. I met him in Abuja 2018 where we shared the same hostel for the NSFestival and I can tell you for a fact that he has prepared for every harvest today. From his rise as an African Champion to his latest achievements, he continues to inspire a new generation of players across the continent.

With his current form and competitive mindset, it’s only a matter of time before Enoch Nwali claims the Word Cup Championship title and cements his place in Scrabble history.
