Causeway Challenge 2026: Bangkok Set to Host 500-Player Scrabble Showdown!

Scrabblers, get ready! The Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok has been confirmed as the official venue for the Causeway Challenge 2026, taking place from 29th May to 1st June 2026 according to Michael Tang


This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever with 500 players competing across 5 Divisions in an open tournament format. Divisions will be determined by WESPA ratings, ensuring fair and competitive play for everyone. Each participant will face 36 intense games over the 4-day competition.



Premier Division Coverage

Top 3 tables will be live-streamed with world-class commentary so fans can catch the action in real-time.


Tables 4–50 will be live-annotated in collaboration with Woogles, resulting in an incredible 1,800 annotated games annotated here.



Registration Details

Registration opens mid-October 2025 once the official website goes live. A countdown timer will be available on the site. Spots are limited to 500 players, and registration will close immediately once the final slot is taken.
