The Pool House Scrabble Club

The Pool House Scrabble Club unofficially established in 2018, is a growing hub for Scrabble players in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Founded on the principles of structure, consistency, and intellectual engagement.

The club has built a reputation for developing talent and fostering a competitive Scrabble culture in the South-South region.

Club Structure:
The club operates under a clearly defined leadership model that supports both administrative coordination and game management. Key roles within the Pool House Scrabble Club include:

1. Club Chairman
2. Secretary
3. Treasurer 
4. Provost


These exco ensures a smooth daily run and well-managed environment for players at all levels both in the state and outside. All these usual happens at the clubhouse - Ayalla Hotels.


In 2019, the club was officially formed and was given the name Pool House Scrabble Club in a unanimous meeting at Ayalla.

Members are now involved in the game on daily basis. They usually go to the venue after their official duties of the day. 

Below is a retreat played by members. The club Chairman, Attah Afada (in a short and sandals) also took part in the event.


The Pool House Scrabble Club is a fun filled place to associate and make new friends.  


A total of 8 games were played in a 5 non repeats Round Robin and a 3 KOTH where Pedro won
