Why Scrabblebiz Exists

Basically, scrabblebiz exists to publish and document Scrabble events and analysis. Competitive scrabble in Nigeria and Africa has grown significantly over the last two decades, producing world-class players like Wellington Jighere, Enoch Nwali, Etim Nsikak, Dennis Ekekeregon etc. Despite this progress, structured media coverage and analytical documentation remain limited.

 

Scrabblebiz was created to fill that gap by:

• Preserving records of tournaments as many as possible.
• Providing informed analysis of Scrabble development
• Highlighting African participation in global Scrabble
• Examining the social impact of scrabble in education and youth engagement
